I literally, as in JUST a few minutes ago, learned how to add "tabs" to my blog, and let me tell you, I am just giddy about it. Yes, I know, that may seem sad. However, for a computer stupid person such as myself, the fact that I figured out this feat of modern technology is an absolute miracle.
Now that I have tabs...and I know how to use them, the possibilities are truly ENDLESS!!! I could have a tab about, um, what I ate for breakfast, or what my favorite color is, where I will be at exactly 4:32pm tomorrow, or a tab about the random, rambling, mostly uninteresting thoughts that I have throughout the day.
...wait a minute, that's what Facebook seems to be for.
Anyway, since this tab is titled "About Me", I think I'm supposed to tell you about me. Here are several random, and some maybe little known, facts:
- I am a 35 year old mom who just wants to love her family the way that Christ does.
- All three of my kids were born in June...no really, they were.
- I believe in and love Jesus Christ.
- I will read over this blog post at least 20 times to make sure there are no majur splling or graaaaammmr errors.
- My husband is the worst speller I know...and I love him anyway :)
- I used to collect menus (ok, swipe menus would be a better term) from restaurants, and at one point, had over 100 of them. This was in college, before kids and marriage. I'm not sure why I did this, probably some deep rooted psychological problem that has yet to be diagnosed.
- I was born in Ohio, but only remember growing up in Texas, AND will always call myself a Texan. All three kids were born here in Texas, which gives my husband heartburn to think that they are native Texans...and there is nothing he can do about it.
- I was proposed to under a waterfall in Hawaii...great job, hon!
- I don't like sharing my food.
- I have an uncanny ability to quickly add up groups of numbers in my head to see if they are divisible by three. Weird, I know.
- I think that Harrison Ford is the most handsome actor on the planet.
- I love a good dry sense of humor.
- I have an unhealthy obsession with Peeps. They are my favorite food. Especially the yellow bunny ones. Mmmmmmmm. Oh, and also Tic Tacs.
- Hearing the sweet sound of my children laughing fills my heart up completely.
- I used to be able to eat 2 entire foot long Subway sandwiches in one sitting...and still be hungry afterward. No, I was not a linebacker for the football team.
- I once tried out to be on The Wheel of Fortune, and almost made it.
- I enjoy cleaning my kitchen. My mom would call this "puttering".
- I much prefer sweats and an old t shirt to any other clothing.
- I pretty much hate flying on airplanes. After most flights, I am the passenger you see leaving with massive pit stains from the profuse sweating that takes place from my anxiety during the ride. If you didn't have to take off, fly, and then land...and you could still call it an airplane ride, I would love it.
